Our friends Kerryn and Ian have moved from SA to Kent and now live next to this gorgeous little village pub that was hosting a quiz night.  So tonight we, along with Clare went along for the quiz.  It was really hard but so much fun and I can tell you quite proudly that we did not come last.  That has to be a win surely.

Tonight I thought I would do a quick pasta dish before we left so I retried a scallop pasta dish I have been trying so hard to perfect.  It was really nice (Matt said it was great) but just not what I wanted it to be nor how I envisaged this version to taste .  I can't decide, do I give up trying to perfect this recipe or do I persevere. Answers on a postcard please.
