I have been thinking about doing a gnocchi in cheese sauce, I love macaroni cheese and I love gnocchi and I thought in the oven it would go all golden brown and crunchy on the top.  Today however, just as I was about to put it in an oven dish I saw the nduja in the fridge and just wondered how that would go with the cheese sauce so I dotted that through.  It was everything I had hoped it would be, gooey, cheesy, spicy and comforting.  The nduja turned it from nice to special.
