Today I made pecan brittle, Saturday I made some sticky toffee banana bread and I thought that some salty pecan brittle over the top would really work - and so it does.  Is there anything nicer than banana bread?  The sticky toffee one is delicious but the ordinary banana bread minus the toffee sauce is lovely with some butter on it and a nice cup of tea. Now, let’s put the kettle on.
