Do you ever just fancy cake?  It doesn’t happen to me very often but I had an excess of lemons and remembered a light and airy dairy free gluten free lemon, thyme and olive oil cake I had seen on Georgia Barnes instagram page so spent a while in the kitchen mid afternoon relaxing.  The cake was more savoury than I have had before but really light and really delicious.

I also made Matt some chocolate muffins as I knew he would not fancy the lemon cake.  I felt very pleased with myself at the time. Then by 6pm the domestic goddess inside of me had departed and we decided to get a Chinese takeaway ha ha ha.
