What a lovely day today was.  I feel very at home here and Thea and Riaan really go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need and that we are happy.  Tonight Riaan braai’d lamb, lots of lamb including these gorgeous ribs. Obviously also boerewors which is a given as it is a braai staple - and it was utterly divine.  I love how he cooks the lamb, the fat goes super crispy and you just cannot get this by cooking it any other way.  He is a great cook and I admit I love not cooking or thinking about what to cook during our time here.  Thea made a gorgeous potato salad which really went perfectly with the lamb.  The sun is shining, the weather is hot and being here is lovely.  We were also introduced to Skip Bo, a card game by the same people who made Uno. Once we learnt how to play it was great fun and I even managed to win a few games, even with Mila on my lap.
