Today I feel utterly rubbish and although totally self inflicted, it does not mitigate that fact.  I have been tinkering with a sausage casserole recipe and today seemed the perfect day to test.  I was really pleased because aside from a few little adjustments we needed to make as we cooked it worked out really well and is everything I was hoping it would be, warming, comforting, a little smoky and utterly moreish.
