Have you ever been to a casino?  Until tonight I had not. I am not sure what I expected but it was a lot of fun. I played it pretty tame just using the machines but it really was fun, you lose 50 Rand, make 100, lose again, win again and then weirdly just as it was time to call it a night I lost it all.  I make it sound like I was betting hundreds instead of the £20 in total it actually was.  We were having so much fun we did not even notice that everything had closed all around us.  The only thing open was a little ice cream parlour where I enjoyed pistachio ice cream.
