Tartare sauce

Makes 250ml

Preparation time: 30 minutes 
Cooking time: 1 hour 

Ingredients
200ml mayonnaise 
3 tbsp capers (from a jar), chopped 
3 tbsp gherkins, chopped 
1 small shallot, finely chopped 
Squeeze of lemon juice 
½ tsp sugar 

Method
Take all the ingredients, put into a bowl and mix. Season with salt and pepper.
