We have leftover beef stew and so I thought I would make them into pot pies. I finished work, made the pastry and left it resting while I got a changed, fed the cats etc then finished off the pies.  They were so moreish, I decided fairly early on in the pie making process that I was having nothing with my pie, I wanted more stomach room just for pies. They were everything I hoped they would be and more, they were just delicious.
