So back when we first moved in Matt and I made a lovely light and quick salmon crème fraiche meal. It was tasty yet easy enough that Matt could make it with only a little guidance.  The whole thing took 20 minutes so is great for a quick after work meal.  As with a lot of meals the success in the final dish is the quality of the ingredients, good salmon is key.  One ingredient you can always rely on is frozen peas.  No freezer is complete without a packet of petit pois, they are so useful and can be put into so many dishes, risotto, pasta, soup, fish dishes and as an accompaniment to so many dishes. I really do love peas. If you don’t have some in your freezer, why not?
