I have been recipe testing Jamaican style patties today.  I had this idea of making a sort of turmeric pastry with a spicy jerk seasoned mince filling.  I have been jotting ideas and today thought I would test.  I was so surprised at how well they turned out, I adjusted the spices as cooking and they needed nothing further.  I was so pleased.  Try them, you will love them.
