For lunch today we went to the Black Horse in Magaliesburg for pizza.  Thea managed to book a table outside so no masks required which was so nice. The wearing of masks here in SA is non-negotiable and everybody wears them, no excuse. For me this is comforting but still it is nice to be able to sit outside and for a moment not think of covid or worry.

The setting of the restaurant and the outside space was lovely, the gardens beautiful and the pizza cooked in a pizza oven, thin and fantastic.  I cannot help myself but pick the ham and pineapple, it is my absolute favourite and so why wouldn’t I. I know that pineapple on pizza divides people (which makes me laugh a lot) but it really is my favourite.

It was a really lovely afternoon, the girls all brought their boyfriends along, we laughed and ate and wiled away the time. Just perfect. Leaving here will be very difficult.
