We have been meaning to get to The Garrison where Natalie Coleman now heads up the kitchen brigade and we have also been meaning to catch up with my brother and SIL so we thought why not kill two birds with one stone. James loves a good roast and oh my goodness this was more than good. We had such a lovely afternoon and Victoria and Noah came to make it just the perfect afternoon.
This was, without a shadow of a doubt the best Sunday roast we’ve ever eaten out. Crispy fluffy potatoes, perfect yorkies, soft gorgeous beef, amazing gravy and all the trimmings followed by the most incredible desserts, lemon pistachio panna cotta, chocolate and cherry tart and an unbelievably light crispy rum baba. We were all absolutely STUFFED and super happy.
The food was wonderful, the service attentive without being too much and I loved how both little Noah and Kathryn as a vegan were so well taken care of without any fuss whatsoever.
If you want a really good roast this is where you should head to. Can’t wait to return for the fish counter.
