Today we tried a new beef Massaman curry recipe and it was so good!

I really love Thai food and have been searching for a good massaman curry recipe for a while.  The recipe we tried was a combination of a couple of recipes tweaked.  We took a piece of brisket and cooked it low and slow in the oven with spices and coconut milk before cutting the meat and adding the curry paste.  It cooked for 4 hours and the house smelt absolutely amazing.

We also tried a new tarte tatin recipe but on reading I literally missed one sentence - turn the heat to low - and unfortunately the caramel caught and was too bitter.  I now need to retry the recipe as I HATE failing.
