I have been hankering after mash for some time now but, because mash does feel like a lot of work, I just have not got around to it.  Anyway on Thursday when Victoria and I went out, we stopped by a quite famous butchers that sells all things pastry and we bought beef bourguignon pies (well she did, thank you baby) and so it seemed like the right time for mash.  That first mouthful was absolute bliss, I forgot just how much I love mash and I again questioned why we don’t have it more often.  You are much more likely to see us eating noodles and rice than mash even though I absolutely love mash and given the choice, mash would be my top choice. It is funny the habits and rituals you get into.
