It seems different parts of the world have their own version of pineapple chicken which was so interesting to read about but today we decided to make South African pineapple chicken.  What makes it South African? Mrs Balls of course!  Ours has a little spice/back heat, Portuguese spice and a good pinch of ground white pepper.  I was so pleased with how it came out, it really is delicious.
