Today we drove from beautiful Bloubergstrand to Claremont where Rosemary and Geoff live to spend some time with them and catch up with our friends.  Rosemary hit on the perfect idea of going to Constanta Glen wine tasting, my first ever wine tasting experience in South Africa.  The sun was shining brightly, the location and setting idyllic, the wine was utterly perfect and we decided to get a cheese board to compliment the wine (good excuse isn't it?!?!?) which turned a great afternoon into a wonderful afternoon.  We had 5 different wines and could have happily stayed there for many hours longer than we did.

We went back to Rosie’s and Kerryn arrived from Gansbaai which was just perfect. We chatted and caught up for hours and hours and hours. We ate a gorgeous bobotie which I now know I need to find the best recipe of and make it and make it and make it until it is perfect.

It was such a perfect day and so lovely to be back in Cape Town.
