Today I spent the evening with my lovely friends.  We all took something to Lindsay’s house rather than going out. It was a very relaxed evening, lots of laughs and it was fabulous to have our own space.

Laraine did these gorgeous little canapes, tomato and pine nut pastries and mushroom sausage rolls.  They were divine and I had to be very controlled in order to not eat them all.  I took salmon creme fraiche and Lindsay did some beautiful butter kissed jersey pots (I absolutely adore potatoes in any guise but smothered in butter and sea salt I really struggle to resist!) followed by lemon tart and accompanies with prosecco from Tracie. 

It was such a beautiful evening, warm fun filled and relaxed.
