The sun is shining, thankfully since it is summer! This obviously meant that most of the day was spent in the garden, it is amazing how great the feeling of the sun on your skin is, the fresh air, I love being outside.

Clare gave me two cookery books, Leon Happy Salads and Tom Kerridge Proper Pub Food.

Rhona went to the shops earlier looking for inspiration and found the most amazing whole sea bass.

So tonight we cooked the sea bass whole on the braai with a nicoise style potato salad.  Sea bass goes extremely well with the salad, it can really take the strong flavours of olives and tomatoes and it feels really summery.

It has been a lovely Saturday and I wonder why it is we can't just have a 3 day weekend.
