Today was ‘one of those days’. We bought a couple of absolutely gorgeous thick pork chops which we were really looking forward to. The chops were within the best before date and in the fridge the whole time, they were very clearly past their best. I was not happy and won’t be using that butcher again. 

So then I needed to think on my feet fast, which was difficult as my face, eyes and nasal passages are still so swollen.  However after bout 10 minutes of nothingness I saw the pasta and the beef and when Rhona mentioned spag bol I thought mac n cheese then thought no! Scooby pasta!  We used to have this all the time when Matt was younger and it was such a favourite. Matt was so happy when I told him what we were eating ha ha ha I forgot also just how delicious it is.
