This morning I sat down with a coffee and my new cookbook, Sarah Tiong‘s, Sweet, Savory, Spicy.  It is really a good book that is full of recipes I would love to cook and that we as a family would love to eat.  I really cannot wait to start cooking from it.

For lunch today we made a blt which really is one of my favourite sandwiches.  I love it with soft fresh bread, a touch of mayo, the fresh lettuce and tomato, the salty crunchy bacon. Just a perfect perfect sandwich really.
