I do love cookbooks and love getting new ones to flick through, read and learn from. I also love spices just as much and have a kitchen full of them, I really love how they can change different ingredients and push them in different directions.  I love reading about spices and feel very lucky that Rhona just bought me a new book, The Encyclopaedia of Spices and Herbs by Padma Lakshmi, it explains the tastes and uses and is so interesting.
