Our freezer is jammed and ready for a clear down which is when you need to eat what's in there before it spoils.  We always keep these little cocktail sausages for when Jack visits (for his sticky sausages that he loves) and going through the freezer Friday we both looked at each other and said Macaroni cheese and Jack’s sausages!  There is something about the sharp creamy macaroni cheese with that distinct cheddar taste with the sweet salty sausages that just works so so well.  This was a perfect dinner, finished off with appeltert in memory of Mrs Sullivan.
