Autumn in Summer. Or so it feels anyway. The only thing for today was a stew and after looking for inspiration it was Marcus Wareings beef ale and chorizo pie that took our fancy, just without the pie lid. As it happily cooked for 3 hours and the house smelt of unctuous deliciousness. Served over creamy mash it really was the perfect perfect thing to have.
