So on pay day I always treat myself to a new cookbook and after reading Jay Rayners article on Gary Rhodes New British Classics thought this would be my book of the month.  What I had not appreciated was how difficult it is to buy one and, just how expensive those books you can find are. New British Classics was reprinted 3 times such was the popularity of it and it was last out some 20 years ago and yet still it is extremely sought after.

I feel extremely lucky, I just happened to be on eBay searching when one was listed at a very good price and so snapped it up while I could.  I cannot wait to get my hands on it, it looks fabulous.
