Today’s plan had been to marinate a boned out lamb leg with mint and braai it and serve it with a beautiful pea and mint salad. The weather however decided to not play ball and it was cold and damp and so we needed to change what we were eating to something warming and cooked inside. We decided to make a rogan josh, what feels warmer than a lovely slow cooked curry? It was so delicious, it had a deep flavour, a medium spice level and the lamb was so soft it could be cut with a spoon. Served with butter spiced rice, it was absolutely beautiful. We chose to do a non-dairy curry which had such a different flavour but without lacking in any taste or flavour. The recipe will be up by the end of the week, I hope you like it when it lands.
