Have you ever had a BLT?  Until fairly recently I had not.  There was nothing about it that interested me really and it sounded overrated.  How could it be good?  Then I tried it and everything fell into place.  The gorgeously crispy salty bacon with the tomatoes, the crisp lettuce and the creamy mayo - just wonderful.  So if you have never tried it you really must, it is not overrated at all. Today has been so busy cooking food and prepping for our party so that tomorrow will be an easy day that it felt like the perfect thing to have this evening. I have made the coronation chicken for the coronation chicken pies, the pork pies and the pickled carrots.
