I have now a really fantastic cook book collection and with every month it grows better and better. I love pottering about in it when I am trying to find recipes and flicking through but sometimes it can be frustrating.  I need really a database so I can easily find recipes, I also think this will help use more of my books.  Flicking through The Book of St John yesterday I saw some lovely recipes and thought if I had had a database I would have used it the week before.

Sunday we are making a cottage pie. Normally my cottage pie is a cheats one but I have been wanting to make a real one for quite some time now so I have an idea in my head and am going through recipes trying to see how they differ and firm up in my head how to make ours Sunday. Watch this space.
