I was flicking through my amazon basket and even I was shocked by the sheer number of cookbooks in it.

There are some classics I think I don’t have and need (such as White Heat), new books that I need (such as There and Back again by Mr Purnell), books I did not get for the book club, books from chefs I have discovered and love and now want more of… Honestly I could go on.  There are so many. I look forward to Christmas Day and really hope I just have a huge pile of cookbooks Christmas morning.

And talking of cookbooks, Nigella’s new book cook, eat, repeat arrived today.  I haven’t had chance to read through it yet but can’t wait to get into it.
