The new book of the month (Better at Home by Colu Henry) was announced earlier in the week and my copy arrived today.  Initial flick through hasn’t seen me tag as many recipes as I usually would But some look quite nice. Colu is American and so the book is written for the American market with the English weights and ingredients in brackets.  I now realise how irritating they must find this with English books.

I am not entirely sure what to make of it but look forward to reading it and cooking from it to make a firm decision.  Unfortunately many members have decided not to take part so I think it might be one of those slightly damp squib months - let’s hope I am wrong.
