So my new cookbook Advent by Anja Dunk turned up and I am not sure what I expected but it is not how the book is.  The book interestingly is a bake a day - for the whole of advent starting with biscuits and things that will last the whole time and then, closer to Christmas Day, bakes that need to stay fresher.  There are some lovely stories of the writers heritage and history and I think this is going to be a really enjoyable book.
