Today I received my new book, Bread Ahead by Matthew Jones.  I sat in the garden after work reading through it and was instantly struck by just how much I like the book and like how Matthew Jones writes.  The recipes are really nice, some of his memories on bakery goods were so close to mine and they made me smile.  I was so struck by the gorgeous recipes such as the doughnuts and breads that I even looked up the bakery (Borough market) and cannot wait to go.  I am looking forward to all of the baking in May.
