Sour cream and chive jacket potatoes for the simplest most satisfying meal ever

Today we had Chiu chow chilli oil fried rice, it is so so good and really made me feel better

Warming chipotle tomato soup with leftover warmed cornbread, perfect for such a cold day

My final run of rendang was changed to a more saucy curry as this is what I really fancied once it had started cooking

One of the best lunches around is the BLT with a cup of tea. Yum

Today felt like the longest day ever after only 4 hours sleep and too much wildlife activities

Today we used up all of the leftover vegetables in the fridge and made a nasi goreng

We made saag aloo which was so yummy, spicy and delicious

Meat free Monday was puttanesca gnocchi

To combat the cold cold day we made chilli con carne which is a perfect warming meal

My new book arrived today, Le Gavroche by Michel Roux Jr and it is filled with classics that would serve my cooking well

We ended the week with wings, it doesn’t get much better than that

Tonight we ate colourful and healthy
